BTW, Ziphone doesn't work on 2.0

In case you were wondering, we gave it a shot. Updated the iPhone to 2.0, ran Ziphone, and it crashed. Then we downgraded to 1.4, Crash again....holding pattern. Zibri how long are we going to have to wait?

Oh well, we'll have iPhone 3Gs in T- minus ...

Anyone out there tried the other jailbreaking methods? Any success?

Jailbreaks need remaking for each release. The iphone 3G will add another set of hurdles.

The dev team have already got a jailbreak ready to go.. just give it some time.

here's the story folks use the pwnage tool or winpwn and then hack the software via that method, and then sneak the custom .ipsw file onto your phone/ipod. LOL I am considering tring to run the 2.0 PHONE software on my ipod to see what happens.

Thanks for the update and especially for the comment about the captcha on this site. I never have as much problems with captcha as I do on this site; took me four attempts on a post I made yesterday to get by it. I thought maybe it was just me. LOL

I'm wondering when iPhwn will actually be publically released? I kinda of expected it in conjunction with the New Zealand release. Perhaps there waiting until they run it on an actual 3G phone... smart of them if they are. Stable is way more important than 0 day.

OT: I agree the CAPTCHA here sucks... I think if you wait too long to answer it, for example open the page and then come back 30 minutes later, something times out and it doesn't work. Not to mention how often the letters are ambigous or on top of eachother...
