There are few journalists as well connected as Walt Mossberg.  He's probably had his hands on the Pre and iPhone 3.0 for weeks.   So when he talks about Steve Jobs returning or Palm Pre's chances, we like to follow.

Out of all the Journalists out there I respect Walt. He is definitely balanced and fair.

Walt says with a glimmer in his eye that MAYBE the iphone ipod touch family will expand... then says "I don't know - we don't know" - but still there's that glimmer.

He also calls the ipod touch a secret weapon.
