Unibody iPhone mockups

We really, really doubt that Apple would go in this direction - although Apple does have some patents that indicate thay are thinking Unibody iPods and iPhones. On the other hand, we saw those black matte posterior images from before which seemed fairly real.

If aluminum casing can be replace by solar panel will even be more advance Pro feature and not replacement battery inside.

That battery is too small... That would make it about 1/4 the size of the current iphones battery. which would murder the battery life more.

Bet the house on it:'removable battery' is never going to happen.

SillyAnalyst

Think the aluminum would have any effect on the reception?

it did in the first one, remember?

Apple would have made bigger curves on the edges. Look at all of apples design, they always have a percentage of cornered curves that is more than this - which makes it feel like a non-apple product imo. Also, those 3 dots on the backside, apple never makes useless design elements - without a purpose it goes off. But nice try :) I would buy a unibody iphone pro, but it has to look better than this.

I agree. At first, I thought it looked nice, but after close examination it is definitely no Apple product and is, in fact, somewhat ugly.

How about dropping aluminum and glass on that nasty asphalt?

I dunno, the original iPhone is aluminum and glass, and seems to do alright.

I just simply don't like the look of it - it looks far too sharp around the edges instead of the smooth lines we have at the moment.

I also agree with SillyAnalyst - the removable battery would be a big step backwards for Apple

Lets hope this is a fake mock up

Its a mockup, not a leak. No one ever said this was real.

It doesn't look as ergo as a device should be for single handed use.

It's obviously a fake because if it was really called the iPhonePro then it would say that on the back of the iPhone as well.

Uh, whether or not it is fake is not the point.

Doubt that it would say iPhone Pro on the back. Its not like the iPods say which iPod it is on the back of them. ie: iPod nano, or iPod Touch. They all just say "iPod" and nothing else, even though there are multiple models. Not that i think that think this is anywhere near what i think the iPhone pro would be, I just couldn't help but say that your point was.... well, pointless.

If it were real then the home screen would include new icons revealed in the upcoming iPhone 3.0 software: Voice Memos, Spotlight etc.

spotlight dose seem to be their, although i will also have to say its a fake. but spotlight is a page on the bottom and the voice memo was on the second page in beta 1 and the tethering dose seem realistic. But overall i will say fake.

first of all, i'm pretty sure its fake. But to respond to your statement, the spotlight you are talkting about is shown on the screen (its the first 'dot' on the pages indicator right above the dock). Second, the voice memos app id on the second page along with the contacts. thats the way apple does it. both of those apps come pre-installed on page 2, and as you can see, there are multiple pages on that iphone.

Also,
Removable battery is not gonna happen.

3 reasons of why it IS the iPhone OS 3.0:
1. Internet tethering.
2. Spotlight dot.
3. The SMS application, that now it's called Messages, and its icon.

I doubt Apple will put sharp edges on any of their handheld devices.
And I'd expect and OLED display, not a LED-backlit display...

It wouldn't be Unibody... If it had a removable battery section!!

The unibody macBooks have a removable battery - what are you talking about? And to reiterate, no one is saying this is real, it's just a mock-up.

It's not real people. Just Photoshop! Check my website for bigger images.

First iPhone mockup that actually looks good.

This is looking more like a Nokia phone now. It's almost a step back from current design.

I think it's going to look much cooler. Probably closer to the previous mockups we've seen here.

PEOPLE IT SAYS THIS IS A MOCKUP!! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN... IF YOU REMEMBER NOT LONG AGO 9to5 ASKED FOR MOCKUPS OF UNIBODY IPHONES SO OBVIOUSLY SOMEONE DID ONE AND SENT IT.

p.s. it wouldn't be unibody if there were a removable battery!

My Macbook is unibody and has a removable battery... But I have to say: It is fake!

Would never happen.

Everybody always imagines a stunning recreation or super thin iPhone, won't happpen.

It's gonna look incredibly similar to the last.
