Snow Leopard reviews start coming in...
With two days left until Snow Leopard hits the streets, major publications are starting to release their Snow Leopard reviews.
For what it is worth, I've been running Snow Leoaprd through the last few builds. It just feels SNAPPIER™.
The net effect for most people will be the same as a point update coupled with a faster machine. A real deal for $25.
I don't think we are going to see the true benefit of Apple's two years of work for another few months when new hardware is released.
Here are other slightly longer and more thought out reviews:
Computerworld | Engadget | Gizmodo | Macworld | CNET | Mossberg | NYTimes | SunTimes

With the stories on file, looks like it's a scramble to get the stories out. WIll show if Ars Technica publishes soon, as whilst their review by Sicura is filed, weren't they expecting to release later in the week?
Let's face it, the only review that actually matters to us geeks is the Ars Technica one.
Which is where?
It's not out yet
For what it's worth, I think you are the worst tech writer in the world.
But you still come back for more and more. You must really hate yourself Anonymous Coward
I'm waiting for Siracusa before I part with my AU$40. Oh, and 10.6.2.
I notice you haven't linked to Paul Thurrott's review of SL. Why not? He's reviews are so impartial :P
Hahaha!
+1 for humour!
Just read it for curiosity's sake.
He implied $29 is expensive for Snow Leopard, before then implying that it was only cheap "in the Mac world", thereby implying the Windows world has cheaper software than Macs.
This guy is living in a fantasy world even more fantastical than the one he thinks Mac users live in.

Ihnatko's review is by far the best one I've read so far. Entertaining too.
we've added
Snow Leopard previews icons of Adobe Illustrator files. And also enables to QuickLook'em :)
It's benefit, not benifit.
Anyone seeing a networking bug in Snow Leopard, two MacBook Pros connected via Linksys router 100Mb take forever (minutes) to connect for screen sharing or AFP? Same two systems and cables under 10.5.8 it works fine or direct connect the two under 10.6 and it's fast.
Is Rosetta still available in Snow Leopard? I thought that Rosetta had been removed but the setup worksheet for Snow Leopard Server still lists Rosetta as an option... http://images.apple.com/server/macosx/docs/Worksheet_v10.6.pdf "Rosetta: Lets you use most PowerPC-based Mac applications with your Intel-based server."
Rosetta is no longer installed by default, but is still available on demand.
This mean that If you run any application that need it, you will be prompted to download it and install it.
Of course, you can still install it during the initial installation if you wish to do so…
Look for an avalanche of Snow Leopard reviews!
