im going to take a good look
im going to take a good look at Windows 7 before i buy my next computer. i totally get why my macbook offers a better user experience than XP or Vista (gag!) but im tired of calling add ons 'upgrades'.
1,3Gb is too big. i cant believe Jobs is allowing this! it isnt the same Apple Jobs used to micromanage!
You do realize that these
You do realize that these "upgrades" are new builds of a beta operating system, right? They are going to be large due to the amount of bugs and issues involved in developing an operating system. I myself find these updates refreshing. Most developer builds of operating systems - namely xp and vista - require the user to manually download each build and reinstall it over the previous. With Snow Leopard I can click a button and relax!
Um...
Why are you whining about a 1.13GB upgrade and allowing yourself to switch back to Windows - for something that is not even meant for general consumption! This is a DEVELOPER update. This is to help them TEST the new OS. This is not for the General Public at all - so 99% of Mac users aren't gonna install/care.
I don't understand how a large push of a developer-only update to a BETA OS is going to make you switch to Windows 7?
Also, how big were each of the Windows 7 Beta build downloads? 2.5GBish? How were those not "upgrades".
