Sling today upgraded their Sling Player Mobile App ($29 App Store) to 1.2 with one very big update note: "3G Streaming enabled". It has been a long, long road fraught with finger-pointing and poor communication but you can finally watch your TV over 3G wherever AT&T's service flows.
In case you were wondering, Prices on compatible Slingboxes as follows:

$29 for the app? And you have to buy the SlingBox for $150+ more? And that doesn't even include WIFI connectivity just like it is 2001 again?
No thanks.
3G unrestrictor already works great for this, but great all the same to see a new version and officially supported, must be JB'n to use 3G unrestrictor.
The big question is: "Does the new version work over 3G on a non-jailbraked iPhone as well as the old version worked over 3G on a jailbraked iPhone?"
You dont need a new Slingbox to use this app. I have the oldest Slingbox and it works just fine and it configured without any problem or special need. Its just perfect now!
