We all knew Seinfeld had a Mac at his house for all of those years on his show. Then Microsoft paid him $10 million to do a few PC commercials. But really, when not getting paid to say otherwise, we know he uses a Mac. This week's Curb Your Enthusiasm had him at his desk a new 15-inch MacBook Pro.

I guess I missed your actual point since you were so busy laughing; but I think it's a valid observation that you can't believe everything you see on TV. Every time you see a logo on Network TV it's either been paid for or been donated to the production. Whether its Dell or Apple, those computers didn't get brought in by the actors; there are people at both companies whose job it is to get those computers on the shows. Why do you think there are so many T-shirts & baseball caps blurred out on reality shows? It's not because Coors didn't give permission to show their logo - it's because they didn't PAY to show their logo, and the network doesn't want to give away the placement for free.

VM for the win!
Why not using Windows (and nux) with a VM on a mac, its best of both world. For me it's been a good way to test and QA for Web Dev...
It also helped me switch from Windows to OSX 2years ago, now 99% of my computer time is on Snow Leopard.

I doubt it. Most people aren't having problems with their iMacs. A vocal few on the internet blow it out of proportion. It is a problem that needs to be dealt with by Apple for sure, but you can't assume that every new iMac is having problem. Mine isn't.
