Another Safari 4 Beta coming along with 10.5.7?

World of Apple has been posting 10.5.7 release notes for the past few weeks.  The latest versions have said you can't install Safari Beta 4 on 10.5.7, only on 10.5.6.  Will there be a new Safari Beta released along with 10.5.7 in the next few weeks?  That'd be nice!

... with adjusted pinching for smooth zooming on Macbook (Pro's) pretty please, with sugar on top.

Maybe with the tabs fixed...

I liked just being able to grab a tab, move it and make a new window from it. This whole having to grab a certain part of the tab really sucks... I do like having the "tabs on top", but I just wish they could come up with a more intuitive way of doing it...
And I also agree with the other guy... smoother zooming via pinch for macbook/pro users... Maybe get aol's email to work with it?
Oh! One more thing. Bring back the loading thing in the title bar. I like being able to see how much of a page is loaded, instead of the little circle thingy, lovely though it may be...

It's time for an update. Although the first beta works great, there are a handful of annoying little bugs.

wow, the whole thing could have made twitter!

I wish the tabs on top weren't so ugly. Chrome can make it pretty, why can't apple?

why not just run webkit and get updates every day eh?

Webkit is only the rendering engine...
It runs through safari. The rendering engine gets updates every day but not the rest of the browser.

I have Safari 4 beta installed. What will happen when I install 10.5.7? Will Safari 4 be uninstalled and replaced with Safari 3? If there's a new 4 beta, will that automatically be installed over the top? Or will Safari 4 just stop working?

What if this is a hint that the final release is imminent with all those bug fixes?
