Lovely retro iPhone app
Here's a chance to get all retro and, like, modern - both at once - using Object Graph's iPhone app iRetroPhone and, erm, your iPhone. You just need to dial the number, here's the video, enjoy... (expect the app to be available on the App Store next month.

This rocks! Creating the iPhone was an excellent idea. Putting OS X on it was brilliant. Releasing the SDK...that was pure genius! It is apps like this coming from such a creative developer community that will be the difference between an iPhone and the gross iPhone wanna-be knock-offs.
Left-brain ideas and apps like this make me shiver with pleasure!
Well done guys and gals @ Retrophone!
Perfect for women with long nails - they can now use a pencil to dial on the iPhone. :)

Is it just me or does that dial not work right? When dialing on a real rotary phone the dial doesn't spring back to its resting position in one quick motion, it returns at a controlled rate and issues a series of clicks on the phone line.
The application is a great idea and a wonderful example of what can be done, but please simulate a real rotary phone dial action!
you guys would actually pay for that?
I thought it was going to be free. I would never pay for that.
