New iPods...new information

iPhone - iPod

It is that time of year again. Summer is in full swing. The north polar ice cap is melting away, the Yankees are making a run at the playoffs and 9to5mac is hearing from Asia on this year's iPod lineup. First up is the Nano which will appear in multiple colors...not multiple color versions but each one will have a plethora of colors. The storage will double and new features will be added....

We can't exactly elaborate on everything we've heard but more will be forthcoming...keep an eye on this space.

I think is from gelaskins... is a normal ipod but with one of their sticker designs

a website called skinit(dot)com. I actually met the guy who started the company about 5 years ago and thought - what a neat idea... wonder if it will work.. Anyhow... I do like the various colors of the nano - bought my girlfriend the bright pink when they came out... she loves it! So small and still stylish... she clips it onto her Sarongs while at the beach... Hold so many songs and she plugs it into the car too... can't beat it!

Wow, those iPods look awesome. I've never seen designs for iPods that were so colorful. Maybe I will actually buy one of those.

kitschy is the whole idea...it's a design niche in itself..just like retro or manga etc. Very cool.

Maybe the entire nano will be a screen, front and back, and you can change the color of your ipod?
or watch movies on the entire back for a "new feature"

Freaking A, that would be a thousand times better than the stinking foot pods. Hopefully the gps unit would be integrated into the ipod, but if not, I would hope it would at least be rechargeable, as opposed to the foot pod. Better accuracy than the foot pod would also be appreciated! If they went one step further and through a heart rate monitor in there that would be nice as well.... Convergence is sweet!

Bluetooth would be a nice addition. But other than that nothing else, really, nice form factor too.

However, chrome already is a blend of colours, and the solid colour front well that technically means the current nano is already available in multiple colours.
you cannot include Black nor White as they are achromatic colors or neutral colors.

it might be something as simple as colorwarepc.com, they custom paint iPods, MacBooks, iMacs, HDTV's, game consoles, iPhones, etc. Most products are available in a "plethora" of colors and combinations.
