Looks really cool, but is clearly fake. The iPhone display is way too dim for an image coming from Apple.

I'll take 2 of the red iphone and the unibody iPhone. Apple if your watching or reading hire these guys. They design such good designs or maybe you have already recruited them and they are just trying to hype us up eh?

Apple should hire whoever did the unibody render, that thing looks amazing. I hope they don't do the multicolor ones because they look cheap.

These are "concepts" not designs.

To be a designer you have to know how to create concept products, but it doesn't work the other way around. There are millions of people who can say "what if..." to themselves and create a good render. That doesn't make them good designers, (or even designers at all).

The multiple colors on the first concept might boosts sales, as the unibody, which is genius, would probably boost durability.

I don't think the Unibody will improve durability. The current iPhone is quite rigid and stable. The weak parts are the glass, mechanical switches, and water ingress. In addition, shock can damage the circuit boards, and even the circuits themselves.

To make it more durable, Apple will need to make the device smaller and reduce its weight. Rigidity alone isn't enough.

You know if they were to ONLY make the 8gb refresh models in the multi colored versions and reduce the price it would be another reason for people to buy.

Ok i know you can buy cases for the phone but how many people(usually women) want to buy a phone because its pink or purple. No matter how crappy the specs are.

This way they would have a good phone and still have the color options.

The only thing that i DONT like about the concepts is the fact that they have used the G1 iphone as the base. If they had used the G2 (aka the 3G) as the base and extended the colour all the way it would be much cleaner.

Mind you they could also do the same idea for a base model macbook 13" too, How many more people would purchase one if they could get a colored anodized case. even if it was only like 1.8ghz and 1gb ram etc

I think they look really nice. I don't mind if they are real as long as it won't reduce the quality of the signal.

It has to be a fake, even tho it says concept, but also that the SMS app shouldnt say anything at all, that way it woulve looked like its been built for the 3.0 update

To be honest, i can't make up my mind. They're both awesome concepts. Of the chromatic i'd go for the blue one cause that's been my favorite color this year.

that unibody one is so sickkk id buy that in a heart beat... i could care less about the colored ones
