Psystar case winding down?

According to Computerworld, a deal may have been struck in the Apple vs. Psystar case which may enable Psystar to keep selling systems, albeit without Mac OS X pre-installed.   In other words, Psystar would just become a much smaller Dell. 

Psystar would presumably make their systems easier to make into Hackintoshes, however, by preloading their Rebel EFI DUBL bootloader onto their systems. 

Computerworld also mentioned that Psystar would continue selling the Rebel EFI bootloader as a stand alone product, signaling a shift in Psystar's business model.

I'm confused as to why apple would agree to this??  They seem to have Psystar on the ropes.

b) How the hell is the Company still afloat?? They've got some big bills to pay, creditors to pay, Apple to placate, judgements to deal with.

Good news for both Apple & Psystar. Win Win. It is always better to create then destroy. Creating more choices for individual consumer use and expresion is a great way for everyone to progress.

In that case Paul McCartney needs to, finally, force Apple to change their name due to copyright infringement because the word "Apple" is copyrighted and logo trademarked by the Beatles. So, I guess Paul needs to make an example of Steve and the Cupertino boys and take back what's his. I wonder what Apple would wind up calling the company then. After all, Pwnapple is already taken!

The bitches at Psystar settled for like $2.7 mil - which they dont have

 

so basically Psystar said Fuck you to Apple! Damn. I hope Apple does something.

 

And they still get to sell that Rebel Bullshit!
