Couldn't it be a kind of wireless media centre that sets up in 1 click, instead of windows's media centre's 2 hours...? I hope so!

Wireless "docking station"? Hrmmm, could you get enough bandwidth for that to work with video? DVI needs a lot of bandwidth. Docking sans video would seem very weird. If it was for an optical drive though? Better to just have a DVD drive option for use w/the Airport.

Maybe it's about HD Radio. Apple mentioned in the past that they'll work with iBiquity.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but perhaps there will be an update to iTunes and the iPhone/iPod Touch that will allow wireless syncing. Maybe that is the "something" in the air.

Where's the ALL of the above button? In the air is relating to a theme, rather than one specific product or service.

UMTS is also a possiblity using AT&T....we all know how Apple and AT&T are best of friends. Plus, WiMax is a Sprint thing since they're the only large carrier working on it and just a few months from launching it...so unless Apple plans to make new friends and adopt a technology that is sooo very new, so limited in terms of availablity when Sprint launches it, and so very expensive; UMTS should be an option up there.Remember, UMTS is 3G..it's no EDGE speeds. 

Enough with the phasing out of the Mac Mini for Apple TV 2.0! They're completely different products! Just because the enclosure looks similar doesnt mean they're gonna be merged!

Here's a wild shot in the dark, but I'd love to see: Apple TV with wireless HDMI. Sell an adapter to hook into your HDTV, add multiple HDMI ports onto the Apple TV for your Wii, PS3, Blu-Ray DVD player and you have an AV hub with zero configuration.

I keep on thinking that it means that they're going to introduce a 3G enabled iphone.

In a way, I keep thinking that it should be MacBook Air... however, charging with no cables would be awesome... but I don't think it has been tested and approved otherwise, other companies would have done this too before Apple... :B

everyone should know its the new apple "air" which is a jetback that runs on a rechargeable lithium ion battery the size of a 24" iMac.

Either way, this would be nice:

1. Solid state hard drive for increased reliability. Hard drive on my MacBook crashed.
2. Black or dark grey/gray case. Love the look of my MacBook Black
3. Very light weight. My MacBook is too heavy - yes really! EEE PC is perfect weight, although I know that is a much smaller machine so comparison a littlr unfair
4. Little heat - my MacBook can get a little toasty, does yours?
5. Built in HSDPA wireless for true mobile broadband - no external card required, just insert sim card (in my case, Vodafone)
6. Decent display with wide viewing angle and true blacks, unlike the shiny and poor quality display in my MacBook that is worse than that on my 2001 model Tibook (the colours are nice, but the shiny nature is impractical)
7. One extra USB port - 2 is not enough, 3 is minimum for practicality
8. Better keyboard - keys on MacBook too harsh
9. Multitouch trackpad - better than multitouch display as no finger marks on screen!
10. I'm dreaming on this one, but screen should flip around like those Windows tablet PCs for use with stylus or fingers. (Yup, touch screen for when multitouch trackpad is covered by the screen if it folds over keyboard.)
11. Some form of dock to eliminate the hassle of connecting to external monitors and other peripherals.

Or something totally new and radical that no one has conceived of yet!

I bet it will be more than two of the things 9to5 said...but not all of the above.
Wimax could flop though...I'm thinking apple will stick to AT&T if they use a cellphone service.
The iPhone is definitely gonna get 3G...everyone knows it...it'll probably get a sixteen gig upgrade too...but that might be stretching it.
I'm defintiely feeling something multi-touch...

Does anyone have any idea about the price..it's gotta but greater than 1500 at least...
