More Sling teasing..
So apparently all of the Sling employees are playing with the new iPhone app but as of every 8 seconds we check, it isn't in the iTunes store. More teasing below.
Thanks Lil Joe

i wonder if the guide will work for sky / virgin in uk?
From the looks of it it just presses the 'guide' button on the remote box and displays the output.
If it doesn't expose the red/blue/green/yellow buttons though it's going to be pretty useless in the UK.. the demo looks like it just has arrow keys.
Tap arrows for page up and down?!
"that we´ll be submitting to the app store by the end of march" sling media PR. dont know what sling is but sure it must be something really cool.
It's a kind of video digitizer.. you plug your sat/cable box into it and it compresses it to 320x240 and sends it over the network.
Kinda expensive for what it does - they retail for almost £200 over here, plus £20 a throw for each device you want to view it on, which has always put me off the idea (especially compared to things like iPlayer which is free).
$30???
apple should rape this app and upgrade their appletv and build an app to integrate it with iphone so that it can do all this, natively and free.
What's apples commission again? If they sell this baby through apple they will make a fortune over the back of others if its really gonna cost that much.
Sling for Palm... $30
Sling for WinMo... $30
I'm OK with $30 for Sling on my iPhone. People work very hard on these apps, and other people complain when they cost money. Just think how many SlingPlayers could be bought if morons would quit spending 99 cents on flashlights and fart sounds...
I agree. $30 isn't really that bad for something like this. There is no other place-shifting solution for video on the iPhone that I'm aware of, and if there was, I would also expect a minimum $30 price tag. If you own a Sling Player and an iPhone, you will gladly pay $30 for the software - worth every penny. I just hope they get it running a little quicker than she demoed over WiFi. I think it should move close to that speed over 3G maybe.
You are checking every 8 seconds in the App store, but she says in the video that it won't be submitted to be app store until the end of March. What's the deal? Is she speaking of a different version?
No, you're speaking of a joke that 9to5 made as if it was serious. Don't any of you people have jobs or something? Leave these comments to readers that have brains.
Please tell me this won't be WiFi only. I might hang myself.
