Where did this Jan 25th date come from as a possible apple event date? Haven't read anything suggesting it.
I don't think anything is going to happen either day since both are on a weekend and Apple usually releases things on Tuesdays.
At lease CES had actual HARDWARE to show! Nat an hour and a half talk about 3 applications and a battery.
Yeah where does January 25th come from as Apple's next hardware event? Can't find anything about it with Google. Although I hope it is January 25th. New Mac Minis and maybe and update of the Macbook.
They both sucked so hard! Gah! I hope this Jan 25 thing is true, or I will be even more pissed.
LOL! They both suuuuuuuuuucked indeed!
However, the palm pre surprised the heck outta me and it is really something to behold.....the OS at least not the hardware.
The hardware ain't all that bad but the Palm WEB OS is better.
Here is a scary thought: The only thing memorable out of macworld and ces was the Palm Pre. Thats the only thing I will remember and that should scare the heck outta Apple....and everybody else.
I hope to gawd that there is a January special event. I really do.
I was disappointed at first that there was nothing on Snow Leopard. But the Microsoft Keynote on Windows 7 helped me understand. I think it was brilliant to keep the blogosphere debating Vista vs. Windows 7 instead of comparing SL and W7.
Same with the hardware, I was disappointed, but rather than get lost in the CES show, the hardware will get to stand on its own.
The software was actually very cool in retrospect though I'm not in the market for that class of products. I thought it was good us of PR attention span.
What is this Jan. 25th event you speak of?
January 25th is on a Sunday. Why on earth would there be one then? Did you mean the 27th?
can someone explain us what he knows about 25 of january?
can someone explain us what he knows about 25 of january?
jan 25? WTF MATE?
ooopps we meant 25th anniversary of the Mac, on the 24th
And you've heard something to suggest this?
nope, and furthermore, we know SJ hates looking at the past
Ah Sarcasm at its best. And me falling for it hoping Apple isn't just presenting nothing while other companies are showing awesome stuff.
I think the 25th thing is wishful thinking..
But wouldn't it be awesome if Apple is indeed planning an in house special event on the Apple campus for the 25th anniversary of the Mac?
a future imaginary event will always trump a past real event. ask the question again when the hypothetical event actually happens.
seems like you didn't see THIS coming! put steve jobs down for option #1!

That will never happen.
