My answer would have been YES, conditional on being able to:
1. have it sync with my iMac (or MobileMe for contacts, mac mail etc) - possibility of an update to OS X for a "home" folder or a travelling profile? Documents etc sync'ed.. if I am travelling beable to still "buy" off iTunes Store and sync... actually, something like an oversized uber iPhone!
2. in the event I need to "boot up" via a clone of my harddrive.. that it has FW or USB2
If Apple was to launch it's next gen. of Notebooks, wouldn't we have seen more leaked material, isn't it more likely that they will announce the next gen. at the MacWorld 2009?
It comes down to the fact that current netbooks are dorky. If Steve and Jonny think they can make them cool, we may see one in the future, but not now.
That depends... am I being released for good behaviour, or is this just a work-release program? See, if I'm going into home detention, then I'd get an iMac, but if I'm going on the lam, then yeah, MacBookMini, totally.
