for the ppl who watched avatar:
did anyone notice how that guy had a iPod touch and he took a photo with it in the beginnin gof that movie?
Tablet
TV upgrade
Mac Pro and MBP updates
TV subs, Tablet, small MBP speed bumps, and followed by mac pro update in feb/march.
No camera iPod touch. All the kids who got it for Christmas would be pissed.
Maybe a new apple TV. But, the apple tv can do anything with new software, so maybe not. Plus, apple is starting to get rid of disk drives, like they did with floppies. iTunes replaces DVDs, USB keys replace CDs. The macbook air is the first of many macs to lose disk drives.
Have the newer AppleTV's gotten any kind of CPU/GPU upgrade? My AppleTV, original model, purchased the day they came first came out, is rather underpowered. Videos really have to be compressed to play on the thing.
I say large MBP speed bumps. Its been a year already since the last major refinement. Intel i5 / Quad Core madness !

I am thinking that the MacBook Pro will receive an upgrade on the lines of the MacBook. Faster processor, larger drive and maybe faster or more memory.
core i5 macbooks
arrandale macbook pro
Me thinks... (& hopes)
MacBook Pro (4 cores & w/ Blu-Ray)
MacPro (Gulftown - 6 & 12 cores & w/ Blu-Ray, 8 core option to still exist)
Cinema Displays (21.3", 24" & 27" - all 16:9)
iMac (w/ Blu-Ray - no other change)
tv (w/ drives up to 1TB)
& last but not the least... Tablet (iTab / iGo / iPad / iWhatever)
Fingers (and everything else) crossed! He he.
Wireless Keyboard w/ Numeric Keypad!
With users able to subscribe to specific televison programming that can be viewed any time and anywhere the evil cable and satellite monopolies will be deader than dead.
Hi,
TV Network subscriptions from Disney/CBS.....
I think it's time to release Aperture X or 3 or whatever it might be called.
Come on Apple please give us what we're waiting for.
I just want to see the words "One More Thing" :)
A whole new Mac Pro system with, finally, a replacement for th 30" display.
iLife 2010
hate to burst all your bubbles, but there will not be a tablet. it would compete too much with the iphone and ipod touch. I could see them coming out with a tablet after the AT&T exclusivity ends (see beginning of 2011) I think we'll see mac pro and macbook/macbook pro speed bumps. prob some new software. iPhone 4.0 and firmware 4.0.
possibly a new operating system. hopefully some pet-friendly devices too. i have lost 2 ipods now to my schizue. i'd really really like the quad core though. my current maclappy just can't pirate music and play WoW too well at peak hours any more.
There will be no tablet. Realistically I can see:
TV updates: Faster, more memory
MBP upgrades: Core i5 chips
16:9 Cinema display upgrades
Outsiders:
iLife X/2010 (Would love to see this)
Mac Pro upgrade
MacBook upgrade
No:
Tablet
iPod updates
iPhone software (Typically released in June/July with new iPhone)
Thank you very much for the excellent and useful subject.
