Thanks to Gizmodo, here’s a chance to take a look at some clips taken from the Family Guy episode Microsoft chose to sponsor and then withdrew. To quote source, “they're even more brain-liquefyingly stupid than I thought.”

Are you kidding me? No wonder they were pulled.

The reason Microsoft pulled out was that they aparently hadnt realized that the series was a bit profound at times....

Kidz stuff I say

They were opposed to the live show not the animated parts those they were fine with they didn't realize how profound that was at times

Those are the best Win7 commercials yet.

To bad my mac gets a beach ball when trying to play the flash videos.

oh fuck

I lost several degrees worth of respect for Family Guy after watching those. Not that I care about Windoze vs. Mac but what stupid and trite attempts at product placement. How banal!

Respect? For family guy? Wut?

Thats not to say the show isn't entertaining...

Family guy sucks balls........it was like that time......

The show is wrong!  WRONG! ><

gooo.. makes me cringe

Actually the last one, Petter spelling be, I think it actually made it inside an episode, cause I saw it on TV.  I do remember last episode fun of the MAC when Peter was talking to Lois and her ex-boyfriend in the kitchen, the beach ball cursor appeared and Peter just said we have to wait. hahaha

the commercial played last night during family guy.  animation and voices were *badly* off (not as if they are ever in sync really, ... it is a fricken cartoon anyway), and I think it was done on purpose.  it would be funny if they got paid for mocking Microsoft.

The interesting thing was until this, Family Guy mocked Microsoft in several episodes. There was one episode that Lois's father blatently made fun of the zune to Bill Gates (character) face.

Then the episode 2 weeks ago they made fun of Apple two times in the same episode.

I do enjoy family guy, although I dont like the fact that they would sell out and make fun of Apple because MS paid them.

I like it better when they make fun of everyone, Apple, MS, anyone.

It's as funny as ever, but I do feel uncomfortable that instead of riffing on products because they're funny, they're actively promoting a particular product. I hope Seth knew what he was doing.

Hopefully being ditched will lead to some classic anti-Microsoft gags in coming episodes that address the situation.

I find it hard to believe that Microsoft could not have been aware of the confrontational nature of the show. Had they never watched it?
