Microsoft trying to spoil Apple's September 9th party with new Bluetrack technology?

Microsoft has a big ass surprise for us on September 9th...too. It isn't rainbow iPods and it certainly isn't lasers either. You see...they are saying goodbye to lasers. What could it possibly be?
So, will this be the moment that after 30 years, Microsoft invents something new rather than taking an existing technology and "mainstreaming" it? Will it overshadow the iPod launch?
In any case, sharks will sorely miss their lasers.
everyone knows microsoft is only making 2nd grade mice/keyboards. If you want the same thing in good you go and buy logitech (if your apple didnt come with peripherals =)
Wow, a little harsh on the mispell, no? Sounds like someone has a dead end insurance job at Medica in Minnesota and takess to trolling to make up for it. Sorry 207.126.177.38
...a new kind of mouse, i can hardly wait...that sad company's idea of a truly useful and sexy technology is a 400lb skank whore in a 3rd world brothel.
A piece-of-crap laptop mouse that works in more surfaces than laser... as if anybody needed a mouse that works over grass or something... good job miCORsoft, your stupid mouse will surely crash Apple's party!
if windows based laptops have had a proper trackpad in first place they won`t have to do anything afterall the trackpad in macs is something that solve a lot of problems since g4`s.
I'd just like to add to all of this that, even though Microsoft is trying to take Apple's cue and start some "mysterious" hype about a new product, they're still airheads. Big f*****g secret when you can hover over the damn image and a little tooltip pops up with the word "BLUETRACK" in the filename. Hmm... www.google.com... let's see what this is about. Ah! I see. Bluetrack, lasers, I get it. They're making a mouse. Oh well, Back to reading about real [Apple] innovation now.
Oh yeah, and to the person who wrote the bit about "Great Journalism":
You are a douche. You probably made more typos than that when you were writing your little tidbit. You're probably also editing the typos from your gay MySpace page with a crappy Windows PC. Shut up.
I think having a mouse aimed at portables that will work on more surfaces is a winner of a product. Sometimes I feel like having a separate mouse on a notebook, so it will make a great accessory to my first Macbook I plan to buy when the new ones are announced later this month. Microsoft may have found its calling... be the next "Logitech" for Mac accessories.

Thanks for the video. It's been a while since I've seen that. Absolutely freakin hilarious.
Heh
We need to spread this around more so that their "big surprise" isn't a big surprise at all.
Who cares about mice anyways...
Microsoft is just trying to pull an apple and be all mysterious, but that only works if you unveil a DOPE product, not some mouse on steroids.

This is not such a bad idea...
