Wow, that's amazing. Let's reinvent the wheel.
wtf. is ms stuck in 2002?
so obviously you had photos and specs of these things the whole time? And didn't post them because you were afraid of getting sued?
Nice work
Its a Fat Phone. Guess who designed it! :-)
Hint: One humungous dancing turtle.. eh monkey!

Are you sure that is not a pre? Looks identical to me.
It almost looks like a cross between a Pre and an iPhone. The thing about these phones is that most of the functionality is entirely dependent on the software and how easy it is to do complex things. Microsoft is terrible at making good software, so I'm sure these will follow the same fate as the Zune.
The truth is that they didn't know if it was better to copy iphone or palm pre, so they decided to copy them both... That's a nice start, if they manage to make it run Vista it would be stellar.
pre and that lg with blue design ?
They went for "phat" but got "fat" instead. LOL!
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, Microsoft.
Wow, at least when they copy apple they're copying something worth while, copying LG and palm is just sad, i wonder if their courier idea will suck this much
Courier looks amazing but will surely suck. Would be a great hackintosh project tho.
Oh Microsoft, it always ceases to amaze me how you can take good others' good ideas and turn'em into a big ol' bag of fail. Bravo.
Ive had the urge a few times to propel something at the wall when it malfunctions. With microscoft's new phone I can save time looking for a rock.

LOL, sincerely. That's a hilarious comment! Best laugh I've had all day.
It's obvious from the ZuneHD and the iPhone that looks are not enough. I think the ZuneHD looks much better with a prettier interface than the iPhone. Yet when I read the things that were 'odd' I wondered if it had been field tested.

The list goes on.
The thing that impressed me the most was that we heard rumors from people who had seen iPhones being used in public before it was released. Steve Jobs and all the execs at Apple used one before release. That is why it works better than most.
The iPhone may not have the best feature list, but what is there works.
;)
I could care less about the hardware. its the o.s. that makes a phone.
personally, these phones are pretty blah, as the poster suggests. but beyond that, we all know what many have already commented, that software is the key. the device can look as nice (or ugly, in this case) as possible, but if the software isn't there... well then forget about it.
case in point, the old HTC Dash. that thing was a very nice-looking, solid phone, with a ton of features. but it ran win mo, which blew back then. and it's not much better these days. i've seen an HTC Touch HD in action, and i'll pass, thank you very much.
and the Zune interface is disgusting. it's boring to look at, and despite some reviewers' comments, it is not elegant, or anything of the sort. maybe for a monkey it's good. but the way you zoom into a category, with half of the category title permanently remaining at the top, as your "up" key. that's just weird. i'd say if the interface was AWESOME, some people might overlook some of the shortcomings. but apparently people like weird, awkward, slow devices... because those new Zunes are selling.
The only mobile companies that actually that seem to make up there own designs anymore are apple htc and maybe nokia and Sony Ericsson
