Michael Jackson posthumously tops iTunes charts

In the wake of Michael Jackson's death, fans are lining up to listen to his music in record numbers.  In fact, the current iTunes Top 25 has songs from the Jackson's songs 19 times.  Nine of the top 10 albums are also Michael's.  No previous artist, living or dead, has achieved that level of popularity on the music service since it opened in 2003.  Oh, and he is 15 of the top 15 on Amazon.

Love him or hate him, he could sell albums.

As for the headline he was a pedofile and the earth is better off without him.

He was a pedophile. And for some inexplicable reason, those who become pop stars and then die seem to escape public ridicule for their offenses.

I wonder if anyone is going to interview his victims or victim's families and see how they feel about his death. Think they might be justified in not mourning his passing? Or would they be clumped into the same category of 'haters' like the ignorant poster below would have you believe?

Selling millions of copies of anything does not excuse anyone's behavior and someone speaking the truth about a person does not make them a 'hater'; it makes them truthful. And the world IS better off with one less pedophile in it, no matter how many albums he sold before or after he died.

But if anyone feels differently, post your real address and invite all the child molesters to come live with you. Maybe some of them will even be musical.

i have never been a fan on MJ, but wasn't he acquitted? We may never know what really happened. He could have really been guilty, or the family could have tried to defraud him and it backfired. You really shouldn't be passing judgement if you don't know what really happened - unless you are slowing coming to terms with him having molested you. If this is a cry for help, I truly hope you find it.

Money can buy your way out of a lot of legal trouble.

The problem with MJ is that his children were left in his care after multiple cases settled out of court.

His kids should have been taken from him about 14 nose jobs ago.

What is criminal is the parents that settled out of court and took money from MJ rather than prosecuting the sicko.
