Sometimes when I poop it feels like I'm shiting a brick. I doesn't taste very good either.
HAHA it's 6:54am and that made me spit up my breakfast laughing
A green laser and a brick of aluminum. Wow, this is so much fun /sarc/. I would rather read about my fantasy appleTv DVR.
Dick move
yep, it's the wireless hub.
i actually kind of like "macbook brick"
Seriously, what could it be? So clue number two was a green laser. Clue number 3 is an aluminum brick. Thats implying the "brick" is indeed a macbook of some kind.
......erm...what was clue number 1 again? =/
Clue Number one was the word "brick"
Lasers are used to cut 'bricks' of aluminum. Lasers are also used in Monogram's. There have been reports of a 13" macBook shell being cut from one piece of aluminum. I think all of the clues lead to the simplest answer. Wireless induction charges, and Laser communication systems, or Laser Display goggles are all great guesses, but I'd bet the news is a lot simpler than that we're all going to be plugging into the matrix with an aluminum Jack and Green Lasers for conduits. 1) Brick - 2) Lasers - 3) Solid Chunk of Aluminum....
an aluminium brick AND ???
So it´s the shape of a brick. With a Super Drive. Made of alu. A sort of docking station. Wireless maybe.
Or something completely different.
Docking with Electromagnetic induction?
Doesn't everyone refer to the power adapter as a "brick." Maybe they've found a way to do away with that extra piece of baggage.
I had a Compaq laptop 10 years ago, and it didn't have a power brick, because it was built into the laptop. There is no way the mobo will work on 120v, so there has to be one somewhere. Building it into the computer makes the thing very bulky and adds extra weight.
Seriously, has no one came up with it yet... ITS ALUMINUM!! Thats the clue. It's made of aluminum. As far as the laser? Idk. The brick name... I think it has something to do with shattering windows. lol.
So to review:
clue #1 "brick" is mentioned by insider
clue #2 A green laser? =/
clue #3 A slab of aluminum.
A wireless dock solution?
If the author of this riddle actually has "news" pertaining to a new apple product, surely it'd be in their best interest to break it first, rather than create a riddle spanning over several days.
I call bs. There's no real news or any new information here. Just more speculation.
whose best interests? surely, your plan wouldn't result in an insane number of site hits from compulsive fanboys, driving up ad revenue.
Its a GAME system!
Not just any game system but one that hooks your mind straight inside of the computer matrix style!!!
and shoots green lasers!
Dont tell me its Holographic Versatile Disc? Like 4 Terabyte storage (theoretically).

This is it. An empty iMac shell, accompanying a Macbook and you have an iMac at home, Macbook on the road.
a second thought could be that they integrated the power adapter into the Macbook, which IMO is a lesser chance.
I always thought this would be cool.
I do think the announcement will be much bigger than this but this could definitely be a part of it especially if it had additional features in the unused areas i.e. large hard drive, graphics card etc.
I also think that the "MacBook" line will end and the MBP line will include a 13" model and will be the only laptop line. The MacBook line will be replaced with a tablet pretty much like the iPhone but bigger and that is what slides in to the docking station
I'm so excited!!
I may be completely off, but laser + aluminum + brick = new aluminum mighty mouse! The one mac accessory that is still the cheap white plastic....well, that and the macbook but we all know that is going to be replaced with aluminum soon.
I am not sure, but don't you guys think there was a reason for Intel showing us the wireless power transfer (to light a light bulb a few meters away) a few months ago? And what about the laser in clue no 2?
Laser is pretty much concentrated wireless energy transfer. The reason for it being green might indicate that they have come up with a non wasteful solution?
And the brick? As someone previously mentioned, well that is what many call the power-brick.
Anyone who agrees?
Bricks are small, lasers read data off of discs in today's modern world. Is this the fabled replacement (or reinvention) of the Mac Mini?
So, what do we have?
- Gaming console
- (Wireless) Blu-Ray (station)
- Tablet with projected keyboard
- wireless power induction
- iMac shell system (new macbooks already compatible)
- OS running (every) windows apps
anything else? :)
Don't forget the wireless usb hub idea. Remember? Its the idea that has a companion device for macbooks the replaces the need for ports on the macbook itself that allow's its design to be even slimmer.
Dunno bout the odds on that one but its an idea nonetheless.
ah, the iPaperWeight...WOW!
or maybe it's the iDoorStop...SuperWOW!!
