So what do all you wise-asses have to say now?
Obviously Photoshopped. I can see the pixels.
Faking videos isn't *that* hard, and it's not like it hasn't been done before... ever hear of the iHome? Hell, it's not even new - the iWalk videos went around prior to the release of the iPod.
I'll leave it to the forensic bods to pick the bones out of it but that looks awfully convincing.
Hmm... Just to be an ass, I say, show me it booting OS X connected to both display ports.
:)

thats' classic!
Seems like these rumor pictures/videos should always be this good. If someone can get a blurry shot, these days it's not much harder to get a video. Seems pretty convincing to me!
It's OBVIOUSLY photoshopped...
More like it's been iMovie'd... lol
Yeah, right?
Show me changing macroblock type now!
No, it's videoshopped, ... obviously!
I want new iMacs!
Holy F*** how... what... jeez, i dont know what to say.
why don't you power it up for us too. I want proof that someone didn't take a mac mini case and slap a different back side on it.
either thats the best fake ive seen or its actually the new mini this time! i was quite getting into the idea of 12 USB ports though!
So much for the PCB expert.
I stand by what I said. It makes no sense for Apple to design it that way. It could be a really good mock-up, or something else... I am struggling to believe that it is the next mac mini.
...but if it is... I'll be embarrassed for a week and Apple will be receiving returns with broken video ports for years.
Show us video of it booting so we know it's not a shell/mockup
props to 9to5 mac for getting this leak
It's not 9to5 Mac, the original thing was from MacRumors. Having said that, 9to5 were the first to post the story about the picture analysis yesterday...
robots, you are.
programmed.
totally agree...WHY you post that video 9to5mac ??? Yesterday you were the wise ,best, "the WE KNOW EVERYTHING" posting proof that it is a fake...and in addition making fun of "someone" else...I don't say it is real...but i am not that sure as you were yesterday...in order to laugh with another site...
I said it before, for me it seems like a normal mac mini that someone have covered with aluminum..
why whould ever apple leave the back of it plastic????????
How could ever someone possibly have a prototype???
You are acting like it is something impossible to be fake.. like someone couldn't ever feke it it..
"Covered with aluminum?" I though the minis were always aluminum?
I would imagine that this is at least some sort of actual prototype.
I noticed that the power button looks flush with the back in the picture but in this video it seems to be rounded. I am no expert but just what I noticed.
I also noticed that.
So is it just trick of the ligth?
I don't think the video is fake (or obviously the pictures anymore), but I'm still not convinced this is the new mini, either.
The changes shown here really aren't revolutionary at all.
Compared to the existing Mini, they've replaced Firewire 400 with Firewire 800, and the DVI port with Displayport, Mini DVI, and 1 additional USB port.
You're right, they aren't, but they all seem sensible (not to mention bloody useful, assuming it supports dual monitors), and more importantly this will mean the mini finally contains half-way modern hardware. Precisely what I've been waiting to buy, basically; I have no need for anything revolutionary!
And tomorrow will be demonstrated a follow-up video with mac mini and 12 USB ports :D
Why would you need so many USB ports to begin with?
