Want to know what Snow Leopard's interface will look like? Look at iWork.com
Macrumors today reignited the long standing and falling rumor that Apple was readying a interface overhaul. If you want to know what 10.6 Snow Leopard interface elements will look like, all you have to do is look at iWork.com.
Apple will be merging the look and feel of the MacOS with the Touch/iPhone look and feel. UI is evolutionary, not revolutionary (move to OSX from OS9 notwithstanding)
and you, of course, will love it...More below...

New System Preferences vs. old. You can even see some of the enhancements in the iWork Applications. These aren't Leopardy feeling elements.

this makes much more sense. Why would Apple design a whole new interface with Snow leopard coming out in just a few months. Are they going to overhaul iApps in 4 months when Snow Leopard comes out?
iwork, itunes and iphoto already have the new interface, scroll bars etc. and leopard was halfway there already.
I really do. This is the best thing Apple has done since Cyberdog.
reignighted? Maybe you meant re-ignited.
I like it, but I think the animated progress bar was one of the really good ideas in Aqua. It encourages the user that there really is something happening.
Whenever I try to look at iwork.com, I get redirected to apple.com/iwork
Suggestions?
At least, you have to setup an account. To do that, you must purchase iWork or you get the free trial version. It's up to you.
That doesn't really jibe with the "share with PC" thing.
How will my PC co-workers be able to view my docs if they just get redirected to apple.com/iwork?
You have to invite them to view your work. You don't just want your work sitting out for everyone to see.
you have to go to publish.iwork.com
iWork.com is still in the beta and has many bugs in it, but ya, its look is gorgeous and if Snow Leopard mimics that look, it would be cool. For a live demo : iWork.com Review
mobileme has had this look since launch. iWork is as much of a design port as it is a jscript library port
for a funeral home.
You think iWork.com is going hinting at what Snow Leopard's interface will look like? That is ridiculous! You can mimic the OS X interface in the browser but you can't come close to the capabilities of a native desktop environment.
You guys have been trying to extend your coverage of iWork.com way too much. You (9to5mac) reported that iMovie would move to the web. This idea that the WEB interface of iWork holds about as much water - i.e. NONE.
Give it up. We are NOT going to see an new theme. It is going to be a small evolution. Sure there will be icon changes. The scroll bars might change. Will they drop the smooth look for the web knock-off? Ha ha ha ha! NO…
Give it a break.
It's with us in iTunes already.
