Leaked new MacBook Pro ad?
In a word, no. Somebody with time+ Photoshop skills got this to the frontpage of Digg...but where is the glass trackpad?
Update: Mike Ciarlo has taken rightfull credit for the advert which is his artistic creation. Expect a call either from Apple HR or Apple legal. Mike, how about one with a glass trackpad and made with one piece of aluminum?

I like it! The closed image looks really good!
...its tooo... too.... :S:S:S
I call fake. Nothing really that new here and I don't think Apple is just going to do cosmetic changes.
Not real.
it's a good looking picture but that ad is so fake. how could you mistake it. it's to throw rumors off course.
And why go with the dark keypad? That should be enough to throw folks off.
only 1 USB port?
do the macbook pros have usb on the other side? my old 13" powerbook had all the inputs on 1 side
They have them on both sides, at least that's how my 15-inch MBP has them.
the text doesn't sound like the way apple typically describes their products. "one inch thick"... apple usually says "one inch thin", to put a spin on things I guess. And besides that, it resembles, too closely, a MBP with MBA-like rounded edges and keyboard. Plus, is it just me, or is there a mysterious absence of screws on the side?
It's "thick" this time round because presumably they made it thinner than an inch, therefore, they can say its thinner than one inch thick(ness). Plus, other rumors previously have pointed to the casing being constructed from a single sheet of aluminum, so that could explain the lack of screws.
I'd get one - the macbook pro design is looking a bit dated, at least to my way of looking at things.
for sure it's fake!
It really should look like this:

Even though there are aesthetical changes and a black-coloured keyboard, this seems fake, at least, the advertisement. Apple loves to publish the newer speeds for the processors, graphics card specifications and much more.
Considering the rumoured approach to the MacBook Air design, the MacBook Pro could be something like that.
I am looking forward to seeing the revamped MacBook line, featuring multi-touch, backlit keyboard and those new 16:9 widescreen displays.
People read the entire article its photoshoped it sais it!
"meticulously designed in a slim, beautiful design"
Apple wouldn't use 'design' in the same sentence twice. Maybe 'constructed or engineered' instead of designed.
Fake. Definitely.
i think its a fake, its obvious to me that someones photoshoped at macbook and a macbook air lid together, it looks cool none the less.
but its not like apple to change the formfactor of a machine without upgrades, wheres blue-ray?
Fake - check out the dock - Pages on the far right? really? every picture of a mac on Apple's site shows the exact same items on the dock in the exact same order: Finder, Dashboard, Mail, Safari, Address Book, iCal, Preview, iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, Garageband, Spaces, Time Machine, System Prefs & then stacks & Trash. This dock looks like it has Office on there.
Otherwise - it looks pretty good whoever did it. props.
Don't you think that with the launch of a new item they would also have new advertising highlights? Apple currently advertises the MBP with the Aluminum design, Multi-Touch track pad, and wireless networking. Don't you think that there would be something new to mention about a new product?
That and the mention of the word "thick." Apple has used the word "thin" from as far back as I can remember. Why would they mention the backlit keyboard in the paragraph entitled "Just touch and go" which is detected to the Multi-Touch track pad?
Unless Apple pioneered a way to make a solid piece of aluminum like a sleeve, I think there would be a couple of screws in there. Unless of course they have decided to use plastic snaps to hold the thing together...
The first image makes the screen look much thinner than does the second image...
I also don't think they would use the word "brawn."
Wouldn't they call it THE Macbook Pro, not just Macbook Pro?
No, Apple is famous for NOT putting "the" in their product descriptions. Go take a look on Apple's site now, especially for the iPhone or iPods.
FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKEEEEEEEE!
I like that the current MacBook Pro viewing area goes all the way out almost to the edge of the screen. This fake ad shows a screen reminiscent of the macbook air screen (lots of unused screen space), which I hope the -real- new MacBook Pro screen doesn't have. It doesn't look as slick, in my eyes at least.
title (Beauty & Power) vs headline (The All New MBP) fonts are different..
just check the "a"
...
Fake or not, I'd buy SO buy this! What a beauty!
I am still not sure if this is for real (you can do so much with photoshop!) but if it is, I am already loving it ;-D. It's so much cooler than the current MBP design !!!
Nice, but Apple would never say "get things done". Sorry, it only takes one bad line to shoot a hole in the whole thing.
You can tell that is not a photograph. The Ad looks similar but the wording and the rest just doesn't ring right.
As for a glass touchpad. I don't know - that's a stretch. Its a novel idea for a concept - but would anyone SERIOUSLY actualy release something like that?

Fake... the image has been deleted... Is this deletion a result from an Apple move agains this fake?
Ooops... now is back... weird :S
