A German Blogger has "found some images of the purported iTunes 9 on a Chinese forum".  Yeah, right?  Here they are for your polite critiques.  For the record, we're smelling something with a male bovine fecal bouquet aroma.  Via BGR.

a playlist named "social"?! yeah, right.
those pics are sooo bad - i don't know where to start.
there aren't any buttons in the top left of the info box, the facebook button at the bottom is fake, look at the "25 songs" cut off midway etc.
good grief - se germans!

Well, if you look up to the left in the first pic you can clearly see that it's the Windows version which would explain the lack of buttons in the top left of the info box.

But, you can also see a OS X pointer in the first pic, it doesn't really add up (sure, you can change the pointer in Windows but still...).

Id still call this fake, some details look very unpolished.

yeah, but it says the same thing in the credits for iTunes 8. Just let the list scroll until you get to the part about Dolby.. still they're obviously fake

It looks like iTunes gets more and more bloat - and the core functionality (Playing Music) isn't getting better.

For People who knows the quality of Apps like Foobar2000, MediaMonkey, EAC, dBpowerAMP, mp3tag (Windows-Apps) iTunes is in many cases a big downgrade.

In addition to the missing button on the Info box, it clearly shows a squared corner (you can see a chunk of white over the girls face), meaning they pasted in a picture on top the other image. Also it looks like the 9 isn't the right font, and goes higher than the capital T in iTunes, which I don't think it would.

The Copyright 1992-2001 part is real though, that's about .mp3 patents or something.

The copyright is normal is in iTunes 8 also.
There are no buttons on the left corner because it a windows iTunes (check the edit, view, ... controls in the windows itself instead of the systembar).

Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to simply re-design the Internet Radio interface and integrate Last.fm with that?

Look at the "9" in iTunes 9, it doesn't fit the "iTunes" font style.
