More next gen iPod Touch images

The iPod Touch leaks are in full effect right now.  Here's anther round of "next gen iPod touch leaks" from the Corvino and Rich Blog (Satelite radio show).  These look somewhat similar to the one we'd posted earlier today.  We are starting to feel like the September event might not be very surprise-y.  Many more picts below.

Update: Engadget says these are faker than this morning's but a closer look makes them look a little less so.

Really is too bad that they're not going with a plastic or aluminum body. The stainless steel just shows too many imperfections. Shame.

That being said, is there any way to tell from the screens if the 3G is using an OLED screen?

These are fake photos. Take a look at the photo of the backside showing the camera in Photoshop (Zoom In). You will see the square of pixels around the camera. So much for that!

Supposedly the iPod in question was a stress test model. That is why its all scratched up and why the screen is busted.

Personally I'm leaning towards real rather than fake.

IMO the so-called Photoshop experts are doing their usual poor debunking on this. Making out JPEG artifacts to be more than they are, or making up the usual "those lighting/reflections are physically impossible" excuses.

80% sure the pics show an accurate representation of the 3rd gen iPod Touch. Stainless Steel backing and the camera will be placed and look similar to these images.

i agree these are fake. but even in earlier photos it shows a pin hole next to the cam. whats it for? a mic possibly?

The new iPod touch will also allow video recording. Why would you want to record video without sound.

The new iPod touch that Steve (Hooray! Welcome Back!) will introduce next month does not have the same back. This one is modified from the current iPod touch.

I do photo retouching and see clearly that this is a faked photo. The lighting around the camera lens is different than the rest of the body of the iphone, that alone should make you wonder what the hell is going on here.

The other thing that gives is away is the poor quality of photoshop work this person had done to super impose the lens on the body, you totally see pixelation and also the tool they use to copy around the lens does not fit the shape of the lens it self cutting off pixels that should remain while leaving unnecessary pixels that should have been deleted.

GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND LEARN HOW TO DO RETOUCHING YOU LOSER!!!

These are genuine stuffs, not fakes, check the lighting reflections, you can't fake that.

And if adding a camera can move millions of iPod touch why wouldn't Apple do it.
