The iPod Shuffle got cut from $79 to $49. Then the Apple Store went down. Will the rest of Apple's iPod line also recieve some price cutsFlash prices are cheaper - so it makes sense.  Stay tuned!

Update: For now, only Shuffles are getting price cuts.  1Gb Shuffle, $49, new 2Gb Shuffle $69.

That would kind of suck if they dropped the prices of the Touch and Phone, I mean they just released the larger GB sizes two weeks ago with no price cuts...

True, but it usually takes months for a price cut, not weeks. Remember how screwed over people felt when the Phone was cut by a couple hundred just two months after release?

The largest capacity iPod

The largest capacity iPod nano has been 8Gb for almost 18 months now. I am slightly surprised they haven't given us a 16Gb model by now. (Yes, I suspect that the 3rd generation model maxed out at 8Gb so the 16Gb touch had larger capacity, but now that there is a 32Gb touch that surely no longer applies.
