iPhone gets its very own Halo-type title...
We’re interested in this latest title from Ngmoco, Eliminate Pro, which is available now on the US and the UK App Stores.
Exclusive to the iPhone and iPod touch, Eliminate Pro is an online first person shooter game the developers claim “pushes the boundaries”.
It’s cool, because it lets you take part in multiplayer first-person combat against real players from around the world using the Plus+ social network experience.
Eliminate Pro also exploits in-app purchasing by being made available for free, with character and other upgrades available as fee-based options.
There’s multiple combat areas, “stunning” 3-D characters and intuitive touch screen controls, we suspect this title’s going to get a few players hooked...

This isn't Halo-like. It's Quake-like at best.
Gameloft's N.O.V.A., on the other hand, will really be a Halo-like game.
that looks awesome
Sure looks like a Marathon inspired FPS to me . . .
This Game is fun but would be a lot better if there was an add-on peripheral controller for the iphone and ipod touch. I can't believe with all the games coming out now nobody has produced a good working controller. Even worse I cannot believe everyone is content playing there games this way.
