iPhone 3G S Line Liveblog?

If there is anything more interesting than waiting in a line, it is watching a liveblog of people waiting in a line.  CNET's got you covered if that is your thing today as they cover people waiting in like for the third generation iPhone 3G S.

We're not going to hear any new specs or features but maybe, just maybe, the activation servers will get overloaded and cause people to have to wait longer.  We're betting that Best Buys run out while the Apple Store line keeps up for most of the day.

All lines should have their own liveblogs - I wouldn't wanna be the one to miss if a guy drops a penny while getting on the bus!

they guys are sad nothing better to do in their life..

stand and waiting for to get an iphone lol iphone not running away from this universe.

Here at AT&T in Creve Coeur, St.L, MO.
I think the preorder has helped keep lines short or non-existant, as is the case here.

I am the line at the Creve Coeur St.L, MO AT&T store. Unless you count the Gordon Food Service delivery guy making his rounds to Pei Wei.

And Here We … Go! The iPhone 3G S has just officially launched in the US.

Miserable that I won't be calling one my own 'til next month - you people don't know how good you have it ;)

AT&T is supposed to let you do the upgrade early if you're eligible next month. If that's what you meant.

Thank man, but the phone's not out yet in the country I live - they haven't even announced WHEN it'll get out :/ .. Haven't heard all the praise and seen all the pictures/videos shot with the phone I'm not in the mood for "Coming soon" messages ;)

I preordered my 3GS iPhone at the AT&T store on 6/9 and picked it up this morning on the way to work. The store opened at 7AM and they started taking preorders first. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. I've got more important things to waste my time on than standing in line.

hehe, 69,...

Im the one with the seven.

I pre-ordered my iPhone, got to store an hour or so early I was 5th in line
7:00am in store
7:02am phone in hand
7:05am activated
7:07am mobileme loaded and contacts in phone
7:10am first call
7:10 1/2am first dropped At&t call
7:15am in car on my home
I had a good time on line chatting and goofing off with others there Apple staff like always a true pleasure to work with.... all in all a great experience

I think i phone 3G is a worth to buy as it is a bundle of everything what a common man looks for in the mobile. Also it has some unique features which makes it different from other in its category.
