People use their iPhone much more for non-voice activities than the industry average.  *GASP!*

Seriously though, it is interesting to see exactly how much more of each category..sort of.

Other phones simply aren't

Other phones simply aren't good for anything other than voice and texting. I'd like to see a comparison on how much iPhone users use their phones every day compared to how much regular phone users use their phones.

what is the range of data

The stats are based on time used for each "function" over the total time.

Its not really comparing apples with apples is it?

It's interesting that iPhone users spend 4x more time making calls than using the iPod feature.... this does not make sense..??? unless the iPhone user uses their "other" music player??

As a percentage, yes the "average" iPhone user uses their voice calling less than the average phone user because the iPhone is a very good iPod. Other phones do not have good music or internet functions.

What would be interesting to see, is actually comparision between an iPhone user and a phone & music player user - if the iPhone is seen to replace both items.
