iPhone Nano looks more and more like a reality

Smaller, cheaper(?), Nanoier, it looks like we'll have some more room in the iPhone family for a little one in 2009.  The iPhone nano skin just appeared on XSKN's website.  As MR points out they were also a bit premature in their release of 3G iPhone cases and 2G iPod Touch cases.  For this we have the following video...

Also, FYI, the nano screen is 320x240 pixels, you you *Could* have the current iPhone screen resolution in something the size of a fatty nano.  The touch keyboard would be more like a shuffle keyboard at that level though.

I hope not.

check www.iphonenano.com ! evidence?

nice find! That seems to be great evidence! It redirects to Apple.com/iPhone (click on the link and find out)

"check www.iphonenano.com ! evidence?"

I hope so!

This may be exactly what I want in my next phone. I wonder what will be taken away to make it a Nano. Or will they add to the 3g to move it up?

iPhonenano.com domain name is owned by someone is 'Moscow' apparently. Of course just like the iPhone domain, Apple can always throw some money at them and own the domain name if someone snatched it before Apple could by it. Or Apple could simply play tricks with the Owner/IP Address to own the name. Or Could be a big rumor that never does happen. Time will tell.

Just interesting with the URL name.

assuming Apple doesn't actually own the URL... the owner could obviously always redirect the the URL to iphonenano.com just for fun... hoping Apple wants the url, and bye it from them. Kinda like MacBookAir.com that Arn from MacRumors bought and redirected to Apple.com, then sold to Apple.

The Same individual owns iPhoneChat.com

google the phone number registered too, same name, address and phone number:

Plus, this person own 197 Domain Names:

It's BUY people. When you purchase something, you buy it. You don't bye it. You don't by it.

But in all seriousness, an iPhone Nano would be cool, but how much can you take out of the iPhone? I don't really want to buy a phone and pay that much for the plan when it has [more] limited functionality.

Considering the Screen would be small and conflict with the App Store since the apps are configured at 480x320 res, i see Apple making this phone for basically just Phone Calls, and Text Messaging. No App Store, No Web, No Email... no iPod? Just simple Phone with a cheep plan, and no data.
I know people who want the phone, but can't afford the plan. Taking the data away... they'd consider it.

Everything has potential there except "no iPod".

Correction... 'Cheap' :)

To add to what others have said, if real, I think it would be a slightly wider/longer version of the current Nano with phone and SMS. That's it. It would also make sense as to why Apple reverted back to the "tall" Nano form factor in the last generation. It could use the same Nano "OS" with a phone dialer/contacts/SMS and use the wheel to select stuff (or maybe have a small 3x3 keypad). Someone should mock up a current Nano with a ear piece on top and a mic buried next to the dock connector. Speaker could be grill-less like the new iPod Touch.
