major new feature seems to be the ability to do code analysis, using Instruments, over wifi, some significant additions to UIImagePickerController and some changes to UIVideoEditorController.
Also fixed: iPod list views on music videos and audio books.
Wireless Sync!!!!!
how can you enable it though?
No, that's wireless connectivity to Instruments. That means wireless performance analysis, specifically for people who are testing dock accessories.
Too bad wireless (802.11g) is like 10x slower than USB. If you thought syncing is slow now, expect it to be at least 10x slower wirelessly.
But some people might like that!
A lot of people complained about the names for the non destructive video trimming buttons which are now updated.

Also, MMS still included and still doesn't work as expected.
Seems like they should of had a minor bug fix release first before going all towards 3.1. I have glitchy wifi in 3.0 which went away when I downgraded to 2.2.1 on an ipod touch. I also just got a iPhone 3GS which of course is on 3.0 and causes me some wifi issues also (timeouts).
FIXED No. 1: Audiobooks in iPod
FIXED No. 2: Videos built into apps (i.e. Sky News), buttons (play, done etc) functional again.
FIXED No. 3: Deleted emails STAY deleted - Security hole fixed - no longer searchable in Spotlight.
have to reboot the phone every time because of update....
Ran out of power for the first time ever today on my 3GS after installing beta 2.
I've come close before, but never just flat-out died. I don't think I was using it more than normal. As this phone gets older and the battery can't hold the same charge, it's going to be awful to have to charge 2-3 times a day.
Wouldn't trade it for the world, but annoying. Still no "mark all read" in e-mail. When, Apple, when?!!
I want to see a signtaure available for every e-mail account, not just one for all accounts.
