Maybe rubbish but brown envelope and a pucker Mac...Hm. Sorta reminds me of the current airbook ad. Maybe it was their way of telling us something.Always nice to join my fellow trainspotters or Macspotters even. Coming up with stuff like this will drive the Wall Street guys nuts! Imagine them watching every single one of the Pixar movies try to sniff things out! Hahaha! That'll teach speculating on our precious shares. Their good shares, leave 'em grow naturally, Apple knows what their doing and they will elbow clunkmasters Microsoft some day, we shall prevail!
This was first pointed out on the MacCast's home page (http://www.maccast.com) last night, which is where I assume you got it from. Way to steal a story without posting a link.
Actually Im waiting to see what was shown in a Lindsay Lohan movie a while back where the orchestra in her high school used macbooks to supply the music for their play. Mean Girls maybe? Hmmm networking with bonjour and syncing garageband or something?
If you've seen the Incredibles, it is where Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) finds the message that Mirage secretly put into his work briefcase. The message is stored in and displayed on a very thin tablet that Mirage had placed inside one of those 9"x12" manila envelopes. The video shows Bob Parr pulling it out. Obvious similarity to the Macbook Air commercial, although I'd expect that the movie might have inspired the ad folks more than anything.

Let's back up a little. There is a clamshell iBook in Toy Story (1995). Four years later Apple produces the clamshell iBook.
Going by this precedent, that means the keyboard free tablet with full room scanning and self destruction (optional) from The Incredibles (2004) should be available this year ;)
Exactly what I was thinking.
I wouldn't be surprised when Steve will show another envelope this year.
Bet it wil be a tablet, no ports, combined e-ink/led screen/mirror/scanning/multitouch/foodtray/crayon writable surface, combined magnetic fridgestickup/touch keyboard/wall mountable digital photoholder backside, permanent worldcoverage wifi and direct rent-only of movies/music/e-books, 20GB SSD, 8hours battery, oh I'm sorry i got swept away. What a device!
I hope Jobs will make it [announce their surprise AAPL raising novelties just like the iPhone last year] before the US starts the war with Iran and "someone" produces a 911 like incident inside US borders in order to justify more... you know.
Then consumers will stop buying items like these, actually they'll see Apple's pod-ructs as luxury items they can live without in a fear, recession driven era.
Sadly, Jobs seems not only too silent for today's noise producing Apple downgrading (bad) press but also a bit too slow for today's world developments...
And he's setup Apple to fight the whole world, even now entering the handheld games market, previously ruled by Nintendo, Sony and MShaista.
He should buyout Sony, that would be a good idea, suggested by a Bloomberg analyst - they're not all crap, you know...
First of all, the story was cute. Props to the person that connected that.
Secondly, Apple copies Pixar? Didn't Steve Jobs found Pixar? Maybe he was putting his dreams into those movies to prepare consumers so the devices weren't "ahead of their time". :P
What's even more unusual... Disney, the very company which seats Steven P. Jobs as it's largest shares holder, is building a "House of the Future". The technology will be provided by none other than........ Microsoft! Gasp!
Is this a global conspiracy of the Freemasons, Templars or Computernati?
Then again..... maybe it helps explain why the housing market crashed. Wonk Wonk!!
I can see the headlines 2012. Apple starts robotics division. Introduces the iWALL-E robot. lololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol. LMAO!!! ROFL ROFLR ROFLR~~~~~
