As we reported yesterday, Best Buy and Apple are now shooting iLife out their backsides.  But what about 9to5mac affiliate Amazon?  They've just updated their page.

amazon's indicating a feb 26 arrival date for the iLife family pack i ordered on jan 16. that's very disappointing. I just called best buy (ten minutes from my house) and they have it in stock so i cancelled the order with amazon.

Utter rubbish - Amazon are NOT shipping iLife '09 as can clearly be seen on each of the product pages.

This just seems like a scam to profit from affiliate links.

I ordered the "Box Set" of iLife, iWork, Leopard from the Apple Online Store on the day Apple announced it. For the last 2 weeks it has shown a Feb 2 shipdate and Feb 5 delivery. Last week the ship date stayed Feb2 but the delivery date changed to Feb3 (they are going to overnight it?). It didn't change today. Still Feb2, Feb 3 for me.

I've been considering just waiting until Snow Leopard is out and get the Box Set then except I've got no idea when that is going to be. If it was in 3 mths I'd wait but if longer, I'm not quite sure.

Ordered mine through the PSU computer store for $42 delivered with my student discount, and UPS tracking has a delivery date of today (1/28/09). Im sooo excited to try it out!

I have a Macbook with iLife 08. I am soon buying an iMac that will come with iLife 09. Is there any way to apply the iLife 09 license from my new iMac to my existing Macbook? Or do I have to shell out the $79 extra? Seems a bit harsh. Thanks for any advice or comments.
