First iPhone 3GS jailbreak posted w/Video

As predicted, the iPhone 3GS is now jailbroken.   George "Geohot" Hotz is the first to publish a full jailbreak for Apple's new phone, only a few weeks after its release.  Called Purplera1n, the jailbreak is only Windows for now but there will be a Mac version soon.  The Dev team is also working on an update to their ultrasn0w tool that will unlock the SIM as well.

 We are one Windows machine away from testing this ourselves but look forward to the extra speed in the PSP emulation and Qik Video broadcasts.

Excellent... I have been waiting for this moment to upgrade to 3GS. I usually travel a lot outside of the united states and I never wanted to pay ATT's roaming services!

if the software loads a picture of Geohot it's definitly broken...

If he can't make a clean crack- why bother?

I noticed he never actually showed that it had actually worked. It was still just spinning the "working" thing at the end of the vid. Did he just brick his phone?

Yes it's not a good video to tell the world "IT'S RAINING!".
He doesn't show the phone, i can't see the screen..
I could made this vid using my 3g and the result would be the same..
