Hey, it could be so easy for Apple to re-run its "touché" ad to neutralize this Windows campaign. As you may recall in that ad cute Justin said: "and I´m a PC too", they could edit that ad or make a new one around that true statement. It may also be interesting to let people know that Mac are the earliest PCs evah.

Good point Juanlu!

I'm a PC because I follow the herd...

I'm a PC because I didn't know there was a choice...

I'm a PC because I can't see the value in a really nice computer system...

I'm a PC because I'm too scared to be different...

That's all those ads seem to be saying to me!

haha i laughed at the reference to "BJ" (Bill Gates)

God I need to grow up.

OK we get it, you're all 'Pissy'

Wow that was an awesome comment :]

I love these ads. I'm not a PC, but i still think these ads are a great comeback! Congrats MS!

I agree that Apple will likely come back with some decent response, but Apple appear to be getting out of their depth recently and i feel they have lost some of what makes them Apple. Of course, OS X still rocks! Just wish they'd stop locking everything down!

i'm a PC, and I show blue screens during the Olympic ceremony.

Okay... seriously...
I work for some apple premium reseller... and... to be honest most people simply don't deserve Macs! 90% come and ask whether they can install Windows because they want to work with Photos and Music and Movies etc...
Most people are still friggin biased 'oww Macs are way tooooo expensive'... blah blah blah...

Thinking of money or of the speed-gains apple's move to Intel CPUs might have been wise... but considering these dumbasses they attracted with that... I want the good ol' G5 (now maybe G6 or G7) back... those were the days...

These ads are terrible. They rebut the Apple campaign, but then stop short of telling me why Windows is good.

Apple ads mock the PC as a means of explaining the product's benefits. These ads leave me in the dark as to why I would want a Windows PC. I guess the idea is that they will soon be moist and chewy, like chocolate cake.

I think these ads will backfire. Apple has already built the brand/campaign of "I'm a PC" (and I'm a Mac). When I watch these I think of Apple.

I see no reason to be a PC. Unless they are implying being a PC will make me an astronaut. The I'm a Mac ads tell me why a Mac is better or a PC is worse. These just tell me people are PCs, but don't tell me why it's better.

I think people will associate these more with Apple than Microsoft and it will have the opposite affect that MS is looking for.

Hey folks, how can I become a PC?

Why would I want to pay $2000 for an average Mac Package, with the warranty and this and that to start, then I need to buy MS Windows to run it on a mac. Because Windows is a PC for all ( Business, Education, Game, Art.....) Mac used to have great art package for video editing an marketing folks. Not anymore since Windows has everything a MAc has and more. I can got to Best Buy, Circuit City to WalMart and upgrade my PC. I need to go to Apple and pay through the noise to do anything to the computer. Cost, Usability, and business APPS all favor windows. Make is for not so intelligent people who are welling to pay $600 for an IPhone then later fid out you can buy a better IPhone for $199. IPod the same, premium dollars for the product where you can buy a samsung or Sony player for fraction of the cost and that produce the same result. (List to the Music)...
