In this week’s top stories: This week was all about Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference where the company officially unveiled iOS 11, macOS High Sierra, its HomePod Siri speakers, new iPad Pro and iMac models and much more.
As WWDC week comes to a close, Apple overnight uploaded its full keynote address to YouTube. While the video has been available on Apple’s website for a few days, the upload to YouTube makes it easier to find for those who didn’t get a chance to watch the live stream.

We’ve been playing with iOS 11 for the last 12 hours or so, and have been able to experience a plethora of the new features offered by the release. As you might expect, iOS 11 is quite buggy at this stage, but it’s a truly promising release that’s littered with so many new features that it’s hard to keep count of them all.

At the end of Apple’s keynote yesterday morning at WWDC, Tim Cook surprised attendees and announced that former first lady Michelle Obama would make an appearance at the developer conference. Earlier today, Michelle Obama, Cook, and Apple VP Lisa Jackson took the stage to discuss a wide range of topics, including empowerment, diversity in technology, and more.
Apple has expanded its Apple Beta Software Program to include the fourth-gen Apple TV for the first time. Apple’s public beta program has previously been limited to iOS and macOS while tvOS betas were only available to developers with paid accounts.

Apple has made the first betas of iOS 11, watchOS 4, tvOS 11, and macOS 10.13 available. The updates are available to registered to developers now via Apple’s online developer portal. Additionally, the Xcode 9 beta is now available as well.
At its Worldwide Developer Conference today, Apple has officially taken the wraps off of its oft-rumored speaker in the form of HomePod. The device acts as a standalone way for users to interact with Siri, play music, and more. Tim Cook touts this as Apple’s effort to “reinvent home music” just as it did with products like the iPad.
