Kinda fun look back at Google's homepage over the past 10 years as per the Internet Archive. WARNING: turn your sound off unless you want to hear some Techno Opera-Omen-Paul Simon-Dream Theater montage.. Props

Wow. What a waste of 4 minutes. I can sum up this 4 minute video in a couple of seconds. Here you go.
1. For the past 5 years, Google has looked almost exactly the same.
2. The 3 years before that, it was a little different.
That's it!
3. Before that, it was in beta, which actually looks pretty close to how it is now.
I think it's great if someone wants to make a video like this, but maybe pick a website that has a significant change in appearance.
If you have good eyes you can see some of the brand logo changes which are cool
Um....someone needs to brush up on their music artists before comparing this to Dream Theater.
Just a weeeeeee bit off.
Yeah... sounds more like symphony x or trans-siberian orchestra... :P
It's Navras by Juno Reactor.
It was the ending titles theme from Matrix Revolutions
I got excited by the Dream Theater, then realised that it was a LIE! LIES AI TELL YOU.
Anyone else notice that the calendar is in French? Or perhaps Spanish.. or another Romance language?
lol, 1999 'jobs @ google' on homepage :D
They get over a 1,5 million applications per year, guess they don't need the ad anymore.
And who said google 'isnt interesting' because their website changed so little? Fuck, I admire the company that gets it right the first time and doesn't change their house style every 3 months. It worked, didn't it?
