MacBook: removable battery, swappable drive
The new MacBook seems set to offer a removable battery and a swappable hard drive - at least that's the latest claims from Chinese site, MacHome. More interesting snaps (porn) below.

Fake. That isn't the Apple font and they never use green for their text. Plus if it was Apple it wouldn't be using a hotmail address.

You mean the new MacBook Pro? The MacBook has always had a user replaceable drive (and battery).
That flippy switch and all those pieces do not match the elegance I expect from Apple... but it looks as real as can be.
And where is the screen? Ow I see. The screen has been cutted for 1-4th of the size...

Firstly, these shots are by a guy who has the ID "applechina88@hotmail.com" and wants to publicize his ID.
Secondly, these are as real as they could be, these are the shots of the top and bottom, NOT the inside, so you do not have to wonder where the display is, it is in the back side of the panel in the last shot, where it should be.
Things are pretty straight forward now, these are the real new MacBook Pros.
Actually, it´s the MB, not the Pro one. On the battery is only written Macbook and Apple labels their batteries with the name of the model.
Little screws showing all over the place. Seams across the top of the base. This is Apple? Jon died and Jobs was so busy keeping that story out of the papers that he didn't have time to pay attention to the new laptops? 0_o
Look at the current MBP - There are numerous screws on that unit so I don't see an issue. Frankly, I'd rather have more screws, more replaceable parts and less dodgy construction than there is on the current MBP (I have 2). In terms of construction my old PB lasted much longer than my MBP, particularly around the area of the drive slot and the hidden sleep switch on the RH side. I love Apple's design, and owning something beautifully designed is a pleasure but form over function is no good to anyone who actually uses their computer rather than gazes at it all day masturbating over it's sleek lines.

Oh, there is an Al cap that goes over the top of these? So he seam doesn't show on top. Still it seems pretty 'messy' on the bottom. Hrmm.

P.S. It sure looks like shots of real physical pieces. So it's a good bet it's not Photoshop fake, and noboby seems to have identified it as some other computer. So either the read deal or a proto-type of the real deal. Interesting.

though I really hope for real improvements or price dropping, otherwise I'll be death by tonight cause I kept my sisters and a couple friend waiting for today to purchase their laps and if nothing special arrives, they're gonna bite me off!

Could that mean there will be one smaller laptop like 8-10 inches? The label looks like it is not huge and fits across the length of one of those case backings... Here's hoping because I don't want and can't use a MacBook Air at this time. The foot print is too big to fit in my school bag.

OMG dudes! Mind the details! These are definitely FAKE because the stands beneath are made of metal, quite slippy don't you think? Not something to expect from Apple, so--> FAKE, and I'm quite glad because I liked the old ones more...
