Well, well, well... look what we have here...the new iPod touch?

OK, we admit it, we were a little skeptical. Well, after this video from the Covino and Rich people, we are a little less so.  You?

Is there any chance of this prototype to be related in any way to the recent Foxconn tragic lost prototype story? May this be the lost prototype?

sweet

i really dont know what to think...
but in case that was the real new ipod touch, how come apple hasn't do anything against them yet?

bottom line anything can be faked... i have friends in post production houses and nothing is sacred. But did they have the time and budget to fake it?

i work in post production too and i dont think its a fake. maybe he build his own ipod touch 3g but that vid has never been manipulated in any way

looks almost like a hacked ipod project... what is up with the front cover? running software would have gone a long way to prove itself.

I was also skeptical of the next iPod touch to have a camera, but after this video i believe apple will release their next ipod touch with a camera.

still think is fake bc if it's real then give me a longer video.

ok, didnt you guys notice on the front there was no sensor for the home button? my ipod touch got ran over (long story...) and behind the homebutton is a big sensor... its not in this video.

There are two things that make me believe this in not real:
1. Why would apple put a small light next to the camera lens?
Would it indicate video recording? Why doesn't the 3Gs have it?
2. Surely Apple would do something about that ugly black oval at the back of the iPod touch, it looks horrible and I believe the new gen will fix that.
Other than that, the video looks convincing, and yes, postproduction can make anything look real, but I must say, if it's actually fake well done to whoever put the video together, great job.

You don't want video without sound, do you? It's real. But it's a test unit. Wait until next month.

You have the unit, you have a camera, but you can't get a decent shot of it - why?! If this is genuine, why the stupid shaky close-ups, where is the shot that would give us chance to properly assess the unit.

If they had what they thought was a real prototype, they'd stop taking pictures and video of the stupid camera and start dissecting the unit. Tell me what's new on the parts list. What chipset are they using for the camera? Does it handle video? Since they haven't done that I have to assume they're just a bunch of chodes who are trying to capture the spotlight.

the title of the post is a quote of a porn :D
