That was really interesting, thanks for the suggestion. I couldn't bring myself to look at the whole thing, but on page 23-24 they break out iphone revenue, (total $378M) but still do not reveal how much of that consists of payments from carriers. Disappointing.
As an aside, the 10Q also says they count products as sold when shipped to resellers, meaning that their sales figures for iphones include the 8G phones sitting unsold in Europe. That's probably why the European rebates had to wait till this quarter - Apple already counted them as sold and Apple didn't want the low price to cannibalize their ongoing online sales for last quarter. Is this yet another suggestion that next version will go on sale before July 1 so they can be counted this quarter and Apple can continue to show growing year-over-year sales?
