Don't expect BluRay or 3G support, ever.

• If you want 3G, just attach via USB or Bluetooth to your 3G or 4G wireless device.  Why should Apple build in a specific, proprietary 3G modem into a world that is almost immediately moving towards 4G technologies?  Ask for another peripheral slot before asking for a piece of hardware that less than 1% of the user population will take advantage of.
• If you want BluRay, just get an external burner.  As optical media is going away FAST, even for video.  BluRay is the final winner of the obsolete optical media wars.  Nothing more.

Don't expect Apple to follow your old-world dreams.  They're way ahead of you.
