No firewire?So what?My wife have macbook and she never uses the firewire port the ethernet port the usb and the audio in JACK...NEVER.MBA is perfect for girls, for people who dont use external devices like audio cards, cameras etc.MBA is for the people who like to use internet Wireless and who surf and wach movies and stuff like that.Not for people who want to edit audio and video or play games.
About the price.
i have to rememer you guys that apple have a great resalling value.i mean if you buy a pc with 1000$ next day you will sell it with 600
in APPLE world if you buy a mac for 1000$ next day is 998$ and maybe in 2 years you will seel it with 600$ wright?

The design is beautifull.the thickness is very important for me.it is revolutionary IMO.
