I was actually pleased with

I was actually pleased with the announcements at Macworld. The first three: the iPhone, iTunes Movie Rentals and Apple TV Take 2 were nice improvements on their existing technologies. (Though I agree MMS should have been added to the iPhone.) We'll see how the market responds to the MacBook Air. As a power user, that's not my thing, but I can see a niche for it.

To everyone who has been complaining about the "underwhelming" announcements or have contributed to the plummeting stock price: get over yourselves. With Macworld and WWDC plus ad hoc special events every year, Apple can't be expected to change the world with each one. You'd know how impossible that was if you worked in the industry.

For the most part I think Apple is going in the right direction and all the idiots out there need to understand the term "incremental improvement." When a technology company introduces a revolutionary product, that event should be treated as an exception to the rule, not to be expected with every announcement.

Get used to the incremental improvement model and stop ranting when a company's announcements follow it. You're just embarrassing yourselves by exposing your complete ignorance.
