I think the Mac mini is going to be fazed out and the Apple TV 2 will take over in it's place as new a digital hub which is designed to bring all your iphone/ipod/macs together within your home, not only with movie rentals / purchase direct from iTunes (yes this is a big deal for Apple, as most movie studios will be onboard from the word go). But also Safari & Mail integrated into the Apple TV 2 (like Xbox & Wii, but MUCH better), maybe even with some kind of new wireless touch screen remote/keyboard... could also integrate such an app into the iPhone/iPod Touch which could also double up as a remote. Auto sync (wirelessly) iPhone/iPod Touch to Apple TV 2 without the needs to sync via a mac first.
I just think you guy's are wishing for too much, think smaller and see the larger picture of where Apple is going, Software is in place just need the home digital hardware up to spec!!! WiMax and Induction charging will come one day but not this year!?!?!?
