1. You compared Apple, which has a one-product phone like, with nokia, who only sells phones, and blackberry, which also only sells phones. I'd hope they were outselling Apple, if they weren't, I'd wonder why anyone invests in their stock.

2. The unlocked iphones in Europe are required by law, they're not some ploy by apple. Come on, thats a stupid argument anywhere, they're massively overpriced and certainly not selling like hotcakes.

3. Have you used a Palm device? Its like they had a bunch of monkies design their interface. Its ugly. Windows Mobile looks a little nicer, but comes at the cost of an OS thats a memory hog, has massive multitasking issues, and is crash-happy. I haven't heard these things about the iPhone, its certainly pretty, and the general consensus seems to be its very useable and stable. Apple has their finger on the pulse of user-oriented GUI design. And thats what translates to sales. Its not being too stupid. Its that when something is easier, you're more productive. Bottom Line.
