CNBC states the known knowns
So CNBC said a bunch of stuff. Let's break it down.
1. Apple is making more iPods Touch for Christmas. Huge surprise, they rock. Make more.
2. iPhones are coming in May/June. No kidding. Jobs said it at the O2 iPhone launching. AT&T's CEO said it...and of course we called it in early October. Mostly...
3. Relatively inexpensive ultra-slim laptop coming out at Macworld. No movable drive mechanisms?

Of course this is old news. Anyone who is anyone that follows this stuff has known this for months. However, not everyone reads 9to5mac, macrumors, and tuaw everyday and maybe those people did not know what Goldman had to say. If CNBC mentions it and other people will here about it, good for them, and if it can drive my apple stock up, then i don't care if they state the obvious everyday of the week.
It's hear, not here, sheesh
yeah, it is kinda strange being a 9to5mac reader and hearing stuff you've been writing about go mainstream like that.
10 people today have asked me if they've heard about the new slim macbook pro. I am like, yeah - I told you about that in September, remember?
Anyway - great job reporting...no congrads until macworld tho ;)
the news is that they are purporting the LCD in the ultra-portable will be 12" and according to your reports it will be 13".
wow! splitting hairs. Liek it really matters at this point - 13 inch, 12 inch?
what if it is 12.5?
no such thing as a 12 inch widescreen display. Go check asia and call us when ou are done.
You mean that dell 700 with the wide 12" screen was a fake? Huh.
