Google Chrome has been updated to version 4.0.237.0 for all platforms, according to Anthony Laforge, Google Chrome program manager, who writes on the related blog.
As the company continues to stress development of the Mac version following Google CEO Eric Schmidt’s hint the new Mac browser would ship by Christmas, it’s interesting that Laforge mentions just a single change for the Mac version of the browser - “significant bookmark bar improvements”.
Could this mean the Mac version is inching towards a stable build? Laforge confirms “the focus on this release has been feature polish, stability improvement, and extensions work.”
Mac OS X users should also note the list of known issues in this release carries no warning for them. Google Chrome (dev beta) is now at 4.0.237.0 for all platforms (Windows, Mac, and Linux).
Speaking in October, Schmidt said, "I see a lot of Macs in this room, and a lot of very sophisticated people are using Macs now,” affirmed Schmidt. “We need to get a version of Chrome out for that, which we’ll have in a couple of months.”

Could I Be A Switcher ...?
I'm seriously loving the new Google Chrome. I have always loved Safari, but Chrome is making me rethink this. Fast, simple design, easy to use. It doesn't try to do things for me. I am impressed.
I've already switched.
The boys at Google are innovative and know what they are doing. The browser is fast and user-friendly. Finally I can ditch that snail called Fire Fox.
