Apple preps .Mac upgrade We hoped for it, we dreamed of it, we even chanted ourselves silly so one day Apple would make .Mac worth paying for. Well, looks like our hopes may be answered, with news of a re-branding of the service. A name change just won't be enough, so we rather hope for new features, too. Maybe, just maybe, they'll
Maybe, just maybe, they'll lower the prices on the iPod Touch by $50 ($250 for the 8GB, $350 for the 16GB, and $450 for the 32GB models). That way the 8GB model can be the promotional model, with an optional $250 credit to be used towards another model. Apple can then update the iPod Touch in September during their Apple iPod Event.
